Three Safety Lines for Bathroom Heating
IP rating, mounting height, dedicated circuit.
First, the IP rating. Above the shower it must be IPX4 or better; IPX2 belongs by the door or in the dry zone.
Second, mounting height. Wall units sit at least 1.8m from the floor and never directly above the shower head; ceiling units must avoid the joist line.
Third, the circuit. A bathroom heater should run on its own breaker with an RCD — not sharing a strip with a hairdryer and a washing machine.
